Allendale Fire and Rescue provides Fire and Emergency Medical Services to the residents of Allendale. Our department consists of one station, and seven fire and rescue apparatus. Patients are transported to area hospitals primarily by LIFE EMS, and when they are unavailable American Medical Response (AMR) or North Ottawa Ambulance comes into the township. Allendale Fire and Rescue also currently has 3 of its members on the Ottawa County Hazardous Materials team, as well as 2 members on the Ottawa County Technical Rescue Team.
Allendale Township is located approximately 10 miles West of Grand Rapids. Allendale is also the home of Grand Valley State University located on the South East corner of the township.
We are bordered to the North and the East by the Grand River stretching from M45 (Lake Michigan Drive) to 68th Ave. We cover West to 96th Ave which is the border to Robinson Twp. To the South we are bordered by Fillmore St. which we share the border of our township with Blendon Township.

ALLENDALE FIRE AND RESCUE NEWS
Allendale Fire and Rescue has taken delivery of our new 2011 Ford Expedition which has replaced our old Rescue 171. The former apparatus has been in service with Allendale Fire since 1991, and has served the township well. It has been renumbered as 131, and will be our second truck out on medicals.
